Our Court Marriage Service in Delhi

Court Marriage in Delhi is one of the fastest and most legally secure ways to register your marriage in India. At Court Marriage Delhi we conduct registrations under the Special Marriage Act, 1954 — a central legislation that applies to couples of every religion, caste, and community. The two most preferred venues in Delhi are Rohini Court (Sector-14, near Sector-18 Metro Station) and Tis Hazari Court. For the full step-by-step process, fees and document list, read our complete Court Marriage in Delhi 2026 guide.

A same-day certificate is genuinely possible — but only through two specific legal routes: the Arya Samaj + SDM registration route (₹3,100) for Hindu, Sikh, Jain and Buddhist couples, or the Tatkal SMA route (₹12,000) for any religion. The standard Special Marriage Act route at ₹6,100 takes 30–45 days because of the legal notice period. We are regular practitioners at both Rohini Court and Tis Hazari Court — call 9891343962 and we will tell you in two minutes which route fits your case.

Need your certificate today?
If your documents are ready, a same-day certificate is possible via the Arya Samaj route (₹3,100) or Tatkal (₹12,000). Call us right away.

What is the Special Marriage Act, 1954?

The Special Marriage Act, 1954 is an Indian central law that allows marriage registration without the constraints of religion. This means that any couple — including Hindu–Muslim, Hindu–Christian, Sikh–Muslim, or any other inter-religion combination — can legally marry under this Act. The legislation was specifically designed to protect inter-caste and inter-religion couples in India.

Marriage certificates issued under this Act are officially issued by the Delhi Government. They are valid in every court, bank, passport office and embassy in India and are universally accepted for visa applications, bank loans, and property registration. View detailed pricing here.

How Is Same-Day Court Marriage Possible?

The standard court marriage process involves a 30-day public notice period. However, our Same-Day Tatkal Court Marriage service uses available legal provisions to deliver the certificate the very same day. When both parties are Delhi residents, all documentation is ready in advance, and a priority slot is available, the certificate can be issued in 2–3 hours.

We carefully analyse the specific requirements of every case. If you need tatkal or emergency service, our ₹12,000 tatkal package is the best fit. The standard same-day court marriage is available at ₹6,100, provided all your documentation is ready beforehand.

Tis Hazari Court (Delhi 110054) is convenient for residents of Central Delhi, Karol Bagh, Rajouri Garden, and East Delhi. It is approximately 5 minutes' walk from Tis Hazari Metro Station (Yellow Line).

The appropriate court is decided based on your address proof and convenience. Our team will guide you on the right choice free of charge — see our contact page for full details.

Advantages of Court Marriage

  • Legally Strong: A certificate issued under the Special Marriage Act is the strongest form of legal evidence of marriage.
  • Religion-Neutral: The best option for inter-religion couples who do not wish to convert.
  • International Validity: Recognised and accepted at foreign embassies and consulates worldwide.
  • Visa & Passport Friendly: The gold standard document for spouse visa applications.
  • Banking & Financial: Required proof for joint accounts, insurance nominations, and joint property registration.

Court Marriage vs Arya Samaj Marriage — Key Differences

Many couples are confused about the difference between an Arya Samaj marriage and a court marriage.

  • Arya Samaj Marriage (₹3,100): Conducted under the Hindu Marriage Act. Available only for Hindu, Sikh, Jain and Buddhist couples. Includes a hawan ceremony along with the certificate. Same-day completion with no notice period.
  • Court Marriage (₹6,100): Conducted under the Special Marriage Act. Valid for couples of every religion. Involves a declaration before the government registrar. Same-day option available with our tatkal service.

If you are a Hindu couple looking for a fast and affordable marriage, the Arya Samaj route is best. If you are an inter-religion couple or need the strongest possible legal certificate, choose court marriage.
