Google Maps coordinates: 28.6411° N, 77.2952° E. For Uber/Ola, type "Karkardooma District Court Complex" — typing only "Karkardooma" pins the Karkardooma residential area which is different.
Take the Blue Line to Karkardooma Court Metro Station. The station is named for the court itself, so you cannot get lost. Exit Gate 2, which deposits you in the court direction. Walk straight for 5-6 minutes along the side path. Auto from the metro is ₹20 if you prefer not to walk.
From Central Delhi, the Blue Line takes 25 minutes from Rajiv Chowk. From Noida, the Blue Line takes 15 minutes from City Centre. From Gurgaon, take the Yellow Line to Rajiv Chowk, then Blue Line — about 50 minutes total.
From Karkardooma Court Metro: auto ₹20-30, Uber ₹50-70. From Anand Vihar — auto ₹50-70 (the railway station is 2 km away). From Connaught Place — Uber ₹250-350.
DTC routes 901, 936, 940 and Cluster Buses stop at the Karkardooma Court bus stand, right outside the complex.
Karkardooma Court has a large internal parking lot — among the most spacious of Delhi's court complexes. Free for 4 hours, ₹20 per hour thereafter. Driving from Noida side via DND Expressway and then Vikas Marg is straightforward — 25-30 minutes off-peak. From Anand Vihar railway and bus terminal area, the court is 3 km, 8-10 minutes by car.
Karkardooma Court has multiple buildings — Civil Court Block, Criminal Court Block, Family Court Block, and the Administrative Wing where the SDM Marriage Office sits.
Standard security check. Mobile phones allowed. The complex map is posted at the entry — it helps to look at it briefly before walking in.
From the main gate, walk straight ahead for about 80 metres. The Administrative Wing is on the left side, identifiable by the green Hindi-English signage. The SDM Marriage Office is on the second floor. Take the staircase or lift. The marriage office occupies rooms 201-205. Window 1 for new applications, Window 2 for signings, Window 3 for certificate collection.
Exit the main gate and turn left. A row of 8-10 photocopy shops and stamp vendors lines the road. Photocopy ₹2 per page B/W. Stamp paper all denominations. A notary sits at the third shop from 10:30 AM to 5 PM.
The court has an internal canteen behind the Lawyers' Chamber serving samosa, kachori, dal-rice in the ₹40-100 range. For better food, walk to the Karkardooma Metro side — multiple restaurants on Vikas Marg. Anand Vihar railway station area is 3 km away if you want chain-restaurant options.

Official 10 AM to 6 PM Monday to Saturday (closed Sunday and second Saturday). Application submissions 10:30 AM to 1 PM and 2:30 PM to 4 PM. Signings 11 AM to 5 PM. Friday afternoons slower because of administrative file closings.
Three windows — Window 1 for SMA notice filing, Window 2 for marriage signings, Window 3 for certificate collection and corrections. Volume is high so plan to be at Window 1 by 10:45 AM if you want a same-day Tatkal slot.
