In accordance with Rule 3 of the SPDI Rules, 2011, sensitive personal data we may collect strictly for marriage registration purposes includes:

  • Biographical and family information relevant to legal eligibility
  • Financial information (only where required for visa or NRI cases)

3. How We Use Your Information

4. WhatsApp, Telephone & Contact Form Data

Our primary modes of client communication are WhatsApp (9891343962), telephone calls (+91 98913 43962), and our online contact form.

4.1 WhatsApp Communications

When you message us on WhatsApp, the following information may be retained: your phone number, name, profile picture (as displayed by WhatsApp), and the contents of your messages including documents and photographs you choose to share. WhatsApp is a third-party platform owned by Meta Platforms, Inc., and is governed by its own privacy policy. We use the WhatsApp Business interface for client consultation, document exchange, and appointment scheduling only.

4.2 Telephone Calls

Telephone consultations are voluntary. We do not record telephone conversations without your express consent. Phone numbers are stored in our secure CRM system solely for the purpose of providing you with the requested service.

4.3 Contact Form Submissions

When you submit our website contact form, the information provided (name, phone number, service interest, and message) is transmitted to our internal team via WhatsApp Business API. This data is used only to respond to your inquiry and is never shared with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.

In compliance with Rule 8 of the SPDI Rules, 2011 and Section 8(5) of the DPDP Act 2023, we have implemented "Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures" to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • Physical security at our office premises with locked filing cabinets;

9. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including the satisfaction of any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Specifically:

  • Active Client Files: Retained for the duration of the engagement plus three (3) years thereafter for record-keeping;
  • Court-Filed Documents: Retained for seven (7) years as required by professional advocate record-keeping norms;
  • Inquiry/Lead Data: Retained for one (1) year from last contact, after which it is permanently deleted;
  • Website Analytics: Retained for twenty-six (26) months in anonymised form;
  • WhatsApp Conversations: Retained in WhatsApp's own systems as per WhatsApp's policy.

Upon expiry of these retention periods, your data shall be securely deleted or anonymised in accordance with the DPDP Act.

10. Confidentiality of Marriage Documents

We expressly acknowledge that the documents shared with us for marriage registration — including Aadhaar Cards, PAN Cards, passports, birth certificates, photographs, address proofs, and divorce decrees — are highly sensitive in nature. We undertake that:

  • All such documents shall be used exclusively for the legal processing of your marriage registration;
  • No copy or extract shall be shared with any family member, employer, neighbour, or any third party not directly involved in the registration process;
  • Where law enforcement authorities, courts, or statutory authorities demand disclosure pursuant to a valid legal order, we shall comply only to the extent legally required and shall notify you promptly to the extent permitted by law;
  • Inter-caste, inter-religion, and other sensitive cases receive enhanced privacy protection, including secure file storage and restricted internal access.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adult clients seeking marriage registration. Under the Special Marriage Act 1954 and the Hindu Marriage Act 1955, the minimum age for marriage is 21 years for the groom and 18 years for the bride. We do not knowingly collect personal data from any individual below the age of 18.

In compliance with Section 9 of the DPDP Act 2023, we shall not process the personal data of any child (defined as an individual below 18 years of age) without verifiable parental consent, save where permitted by law. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we shall delete it promptly.
